CORRUGATED WALL
In oil-based electrical distribution and power transformers, the heat generated in the coils and core due to the induction effect damages the transformer and causes a decrease in the efficiency of the transformer. In order to eliminate this heat, insulation is achieved between the active part and the tank by means of the transformer oil placed in the transformer tank, and the heat generated in the active part is conventionally carried and transferred to the atmosphere. Corrugated Walls are cooling radiators produced as a result of folding and seam welding of monolithic roll sheet and serving to increase the contact surface area of the transformer tank with the atmosphere.
Akgun Radyator established “Turkiye’s Corrugated Wall Production” line in 1998.
